Gewurztraminer finds ideal growing conditions in the cool climate of the Eisack Valley or at altitudes above 700 meters. Soils rich in pebbles, sand and schist, as well as the Alpine microclimate, further enhance it, favoring slower ripening. The color is bright, clear, pale straw yellow with greenish highlights. On the nose the aromas are slightly pronounced, youthful and fruity apricot and apple. Very floral with a slight hint of nutmeg. A slender and elegant body, very fresh and dry. Then Alois Lageder needs no introduction. Biodynamic wine.
