Conca Tre Pile in Bussia (Monforte d’Alba) is a hilly slope of Bussia Soprana mainly used in Barbera with vineyards aged up to 45 years. The harvest is manual with selection of grapes in the vineyard. The grapes are harvested the first week of October. The vinification is in red with maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks. The must remains in contact with the skins for about 8-10 days. The new wine spends a few months in steel tanks with various decantings, then it is put in wood where it remains for a few months.
