Grape variety: Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana)
Production area: San Benedetto di Lugana, south of Lake Garda. The grapes come from the estate vineyard Le Creete, 12 hectares in the heart of the Lugana region, characterized by a high content of white clay.
Production method: Gentle whole-cluster pressing for most of the production, with the remaining portion lightly destemmed by oscillation. This is followed by a strict winemaking protocol: natural sedimentation for clarification, slow fermentation at controlled temperatures (14°–18°C); aging on fine lees for 6–8 months.
Tasting notes: Intense golden yellow color. The nose is enveloping, with immediate exotic aromas of pineapple and hints of grapefruit. The development is extremely pleasant, with a marked mineral sensation. A wine of character, offering great finesse in its aromas. Richness, continuity, and balance fully satisfy the palate.
