Merlot played on finesse and elegance. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of red fruits and chalk; on the palate, the wine presents itself as substantial and rich, with great density, silky and smooth tannins, and a savory finish with a pronounced note of balsamic freshness. The vines of Galea are over 60 years old and belong to a Spanish cluster cultivar of Merlot. It is an important wine, with only 3000 bottles produced. The winery practices organic and traditional viticulture.
