This wine is obtained from a very old vineyard with the typical grapes of the production area: Sangiovese and Montepulciano. It is aged for approximately 24 months on lees during fermentation and 6 months in the bottle. The wine is not filtered.
The cultivation pursued by Natalino Crognaletti, from the San Lorenzo winery, has always aimed to be as environmentally friendly as possible and to ensure the health of the final consumer. The principles of organic and biodynamic farming are applied.
The color is intense ruby, and on the nose, there are ripe red fruits, violets, as well as hints of tobacco, dried flowers, wet earth, and spices. The palate is structured and elegant. The finish is extremely long.
