Gaja’s Rossj Bass is an intriguing and prestigious interpretation of Chardonnay, crafted in Piedmont.
A great admirer of international wines, particularly French ones, Angelo Gaja drew inspiration from Burgundy’s grand tradition to create an important, intense, rich, and structured white wine.
The vineyards are located in Barbaresco and Serralunga.
Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in wood for 6 to 7 months.
Brilliant and bright light yellow in color with golden highlights, it reveals a bouquet rich in aromas of ripe yellow fruit, peach, pineapple, citrus fragrances, floral hints of orange blossom and hawthorn, along with soft notes of honey and delicate pastry.
It boasts good structure and density, distinguished by elegant, intense, harmonious, and persistent aromas, leading to a savory, crisply fresh finish.
