The vineyards of this Chianti Classico Docg are located at an altitude of between 390 and 520m. a.s.l. 2006 is to be remembered as one of the best vintages of the last twenty years for the whole Chianti Classico area. Dark ruby with intriguing transparencies at the edges; intense bouquet with strong fruity and floral notes typical of Sangiovese (raspberries, berries, violet) well blended with earthy notes, juniper and resin. Elegant, deep mouth with a very persuasive tannin, excellent freshness and great drinkability. At the end, the fruity character is well blended with pleasant spicy notes; very continued.
