100% Petite Arvine
Petite Arvine is a traditional, late-ripening grape variety. Its name comes from the variety — Arvine — and the small size (Petite, in French) of its berries. This wine, a symbol of the Aosta Valley region, is known for its intense minerality, marked salinity, and distinctive aromatic profile.
Bright straw yellow in color. On the nose, floral notes (jasmine, peony), with hints of apple, plum, and citrus. On the palate, it is savory and well-balanced, with mineral nuances.
Recommended pairings: Marinated tuna carpaccio, linguine with pesto, salt-baked sea bream, herb-crusted rainbow trout. Also ideal as an aperitif.
Production area: Champorette and Bufferia in Aymavilles, Frissonnière in Saint-Christophe.
Vinification: Whole-cluster gentle pressing with prior cooling of the grapes, followed by a 12-day fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature (14°C).
Aging: 2 months “sur lies” (on the lees)
