Cascina Vanotu, located at the crossroads of the three municipalities of the Barbaresco area: Treiso, Barbaresco and Neive, medium-textured soil with a rich limestone component suitable for making very aromatic and very varietal wines. The intense and broad color of a beautiful ruby red is expressed on the nose with fruity notes of raspberry and cherry accompanied and well harmonized with persuasive woody notes such as vanilla. The aromatic frame in addition to the typical rose notes is completed with notes of sage, mint, thyme, chamomile constant over the years so as to almost constitute the trademark of this land. In the mouth it is velvety broad and enveloping with sweet and persistent tannins. The great polyphenolic structure of Nebbiolo and the right tannic acid ratio of this wine are certainly synonyms of long aging.
